BYD 'Eye of the God of Heaven' Technology Overview.
BYD 'Eye of the God of Heaven' Advanced Intelligent Driving Assistance System combines multi-sensor fusion with an in-house developed high-performance intelligent driving computing platform and an end-to-end algorithm architecture. Relying on China's largest car cloud database and prioritizing safety, it provides ultra-human driving assistance that enables early identification, rapid correction, and precise control. This creates an exceptional driving experience across all scenarios including highways, urban areas, and parking, ensuring that the vehicle can drive wherever there's a road and park anywhere.

1. BYD 'Eye of the God of Heaven' Technology Architecture
(1) Technical Foundation: Vehicle Intelligent Electric Integration, Realizing BAS 3.0 + Superhuman Driving Assistance
- Perception Layer: 'Industry’s strongest hardware + Vehicle fusion perception based on Xuanji architecture'
The Yangwang U8 is equipped with 3 LiDARs, 5 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 12 high-definition cameras, offering a broader and more accurate control. The Tengshi Z9GT and Tengshi N7 are equipped with 2 LiDARs, 5 millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 12 high-definition cameras, staying at the industry's top tier.
The BYD 'Eye of the God of Heaven' can monitor the entire vehicle’s information, vehicle status, and driver’s condition in real-time, providing full-scenario, all-weather, and all-region perception to ensure the utmost safety and comfort for users.
- Decision-Making Layer: 'Strongest algorithms, largest data, fastest iteration, most optimal decisions'
(1) Fully self-developed high-performance intelligent driving computing platform:
Perception hardware and high-performance chips are the foundational components of intelligent driving. BYD's fully self-developed high-performance intelligent driving computing platform is the world’s first in-car computing platform designed, developed, and produced entirely by a car manufacturer. It uses AI chips with high performance, safety, and reliability to better realize perception, positioning, decision-making, planning, and control.
The Yangwang U8 uses dual Orin X chips with up to 508 TOPS of computing power, while the Tengshi Z9GT and Tengshi N7 use Orin X chips with up to 254 TOPS of computing power.
(2) Leveraging China’s largest car cloud database to build an industry-leading end-to-end large model:
Currently, BYD has over 4 million vehicles of L2 or higher driving on the road, with tens of thousands more being added each month, gradually achieving large-scale adoption of advanced intelligent driving.
