2026 ZEEKR 8X Officially Unveiled.

Recently, the exterior of the ZEEKR 8X production model was officially revealed, along with five official paint options: Cloud Amber Red, Moon Sea Gray, Xuanwu Gray, Polar Night Black, and Polar Day White. According to earlier information, the new model is built on the SEA-S super hybrid architecture and will be offered in both five-seat and six-seat configurations. It is scheduled to launch in the first half of this year, with the top-spec version expected to be priced close to RMB 500,000.

In terms of exterior design, the new model continues the design philosophy of the ZEEKR 9X, with refinements focused on details. Softer lines are used throughout the body, giving the vehicle a more athletic appearance. The large front grille retains its signature vertical waterfall-style chrome elements, enhancing the premium feel. At the rear, a full-width taillight assembly is adopted with the ZEEKR lettering positioned at the center, complemented by a roof spoiler and a diffuser featuring chrome accents, adding visual depth. Dimension-wise, the ZEEKR 8X measures 5,100 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,780 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,069 mm.

Based on previously leaked interior images, the new model features an integrated dual-screen layout consisting of a central infotainment display and a front passenger entertainment screen, along with a column-mounted gear selector. Elsewhere, the T-shaped center console appears wide and substantial, equipped with armrests and wireless smartphone charging. In the rear, unlike the ZEEKR 9X, the vehicle does not feature a sliding rear entertainment screen; instead, the screen is fixed between the dual sunroofs. Additionally, the car is equipped with a Naim audio system, which is expected to deliver an impressive audiovisual experience.

In terms of powertrain, the new model is equipped with a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system. The engine delivers a maximum output of 205 kW, while the tri-motor megawatt-class electric drive system produces a combined output of up to 1,030 kW. Features such as a large-capacity battery supporting 6C ultra-fast charging, the Haohan AI digital chassis, and a 48-volt active anti-roll bar system are also expected to be available on the ZEEKR 8X.
